Why is it that our elected councillors have got a grudge against the businesses in our city centre?
The comments allegedly made by Councillors Digman and Plowman regarding closing the Little London car park are beyond belief.
This well used car park is essential for the use of short-term shoppers within the city centre, especially those of us who are disabled.
Without this car park it would have the effect of driving shoppers even more to the outskirts of the city where unfortunately more and more large and small enterprises are relocating.
Do the councillors like the prospect of the city centre to consist of just banks, jewellers, coffee shops and mobile phone enterprises.
Have a heart councillors and get your priorities right!
