Police have arrested a man who was wanted for recall to prison.
Before his sentence, imposed in April 2017, Tristram Dean Francis, 36, pictured right, was living at an address in Selsey and he has family and associates in the Chichester, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton areas.
Officers had issued a news and social media appeal on Monday (December 30) for the whereabouts of Francis, who was released from prison on licence in February 2019 part way through a 39-month sentence for burglary, and was wanted on behalf of the Probation Service for breaching conditions of his release licence.
Francis was arrested on New Years Eve morning (Tuesday, December 31) at an address in Bognor Regis, as a result of information received following the media appeal.
He is now being returned to prison.
