Christmas at the museum
Thursday, December 26, to Friday 27
Weald & Downland Living Museum
Singleton, Chichester, PO18 0EU
From Tudor to Victorian times, a historic festive treat awaits visitors on Boxing Day and Friday, December 27, when the museum’s traditionally decorated houses will reflect the spirit of Christmas through the ages.
It is a wonderful time to visit the museum and enjoy the atmosphere of its historic homes, which have been decorated to reflect how this special time of year has been celebrated over the centuries.
Enjoy a warm welcome in the medieval house from North Cray, with its log fire and traditional greenery decorations.
The team will be serving spiced apple juice as well as biscuits, for which donations are welcome. All activities are subject to change.
The museum is open on Boxing day and Friday, December 27, from 10.30am until 4pm for Christmas at the museum.
Regular admission prices apply (free for annual members) and dogs on leads are welcome.
