The inaugural Chichester Food Festival with Rhythm & Blues will be coming to the city’s Priory Park next weekend.
Visitors can look forward to an array of international street foods and handmade groceries ranging from pork or chicken souvlaki to award- winning, flavoured, waxed cheese truckles.
A packed programme of live music will hit the stage throughout the weekend including both local acts and those from further afield.
“We are delighted to be hosting the Chichester Food Festival with Rhythm & Blues, bringing our brand of family friendly entertainment to Chichester for the first time,” said Paul Kennedy, director of Zoom Events.
“A great line-up of music has been confirmed, including Harripaul, TNT, When Rivers Meet, Lady Luck Lexy and the Riverside Boys, Ian Fox, The Bohemianauts, Don McDermott and Mahoney and the Moment to name but a few. Plus, we will be bringing a host of tasty treats to enjoy, too.”
A variety of freshly cooked street foods will include burgers with homemade toppings, rustic pizzas cooked in a wood-fired mobile pizza oven, German sausages, sweet crepes and a range of Thai and Chinese delicacies.
Artisan groceries will be available for tasting so that guests can choose their favourites to purchase and savour at home, in addition to an arts and crafts section featuring wildlife photography, Indian rugs and Italian clothing to sterling silver jewellery.
Chichester Food Festival with Rhythm and Blues will be open on Friday, July 12, from 12pm to 9pm, and Sunday, from 11am to 6pm.
