Chi will need to be at their best to repeat the trick against Hastings, a side who have not lost in their last five.
Matt Geffen’s side, who are now sixth, will look to repeat an excellent bowling display against Lindfield last weekend which set up a comfortable victory for the home side.
Abhi Raut proved to be the star performer, taking 6-27 from just 13 overs as the visitors were dismissed for just 96.
He was backed up by opening bowler Dan Joseph, with 3-30 in 14.3 overs.
In reply, Chi edged to the total, navigating a difficult pitch to reach the score with four wickets in hand. Opener Matt Bennison top scored with 26.
Fellow Division Two side Bognor , who are just one place above Chi in the standings, head to Lindfield tomorrow (12.30pm) looking for a similar result.
The Hawthorn Road side defeated Burgess Hill with ease last time out, cruising to a nine wicket win.
Bognor had the visitors at a remarkable 28-8 at one point as Joe Ashmore (4-25) and Roy Kaia (3-19) bamboozled the visitors.
Burgess Hill eventually rallied to a score of 68, a total which was never going to be enough to defend.
In Division Three West, Pagham host Broadwater tomorrow (12.30pm) looking to keep in touch with the league leaders.
The third-place side beat Stirlands by eight wickets last weekend, with opener Jack Stannard scoring an unbeaten 82 in the chase.
