Police reports

OVER THE week from Monday, February 18, to Sunday, February 24, there were several reports made to police in the Chichester area.


In Caernarvon Road, Chichester, on Monday, February 18, a vehicle was stolen from the driveway of a property. The vehicle was a black Mitsubishi L200. Serial 0603 18/2.


Overnight, into February 18, a vehicle in Beech Avenue, Bracklesham Bay, was broken into, and an iPod stolen. Serial 0433 18/2.


Also on Monday, February 18, a garage in Little Breach, Chichester, was broken into and black city bike stolen. Serial 1053 20/2.


In Southbrook Road, West Ashling, on Tuesday, February 19, a bedroom window in a property was damaged with a BB gun. This occurred between 7pm on February 18 and 8.30am on February 19. Serial 0529 19/2.


In Churchside, Chichester, on Thursday, February 21, police received a report of a vehicle break-in overnight. Serial 0358 21/2.


On Thursday, February 21, a vehicle in Hangar Drive, Tangmere, was broken into. Serial 1341 21/2.


In West Broyle Drive, Chichester, on Saturday, February 23, a vehicle was broken into overnight. An untidy search of the vehicle was undertaken and bank cards stolen. Serial 0327 23/2.


Police have also stated: “We are listening to concerns of residents following residential burglaries in the Parklands and surrounding areas of Chichester.


“Reassurance visits to residents and increased patrols continue by our officers and PCSOs.”
