A DOG TRAINING facility in the district has won a business of the year award for 2019.
Sussex County Dog Training, in Aldingbourne, was opened by Miranda Batterbee and Jeff Sasse ten years ago.
Jeff, Miranda and Sussex County Dog Training won the Action Coach Portsmouth Business of the year award 2019.
Steve Mullins, business coach from the Action Coach Awards, said: “Over the year of 2018 the team at Sussex County Dog Training undertook some large changes within the business, putting a high level of structure and system in place which supports the team but also allows them to give an exceptional level of services to their customers.
“The whole team at Sussex are committed and focused on making sure they deliver the best service across all areas of the business with their number one focus always being the customer and the welfare of their dogs.
“Winning business of the year 2019 was not easy. The team were up against some great other businesses which had shown again great growth well over 50 per cent.
“I would like to congratulate the whole team once again for the amazing work they have done.”
Dog trainer Josie Spurling said: “I personally think it’s a great achievement for us as a company to receive business of the year award. We are passionate about providing a great service to our customers to make them feel like part of the family and therefore building up their relationships with their dogs.
“Equally, to be recognised as a great place to work, was a wonderful achievement. It was lovely to go to the awards and spend some quality time with members of the team and being recognised with the award was the cherry on top.”
