THE THINKING DRINKERS are back on tour with a new, hilarious, intoxicating bar-hop through history, with the pub crawl stopping off in Havant for two nights.


Enjoy five free drinks as the award-winning experts take you from the symposiums of Ancient Greece to the classic British boozer via Wild West saloons, Victorian gin palaces and the secret Speakeasy.


The Thinking Drinkers are award-winning drinks writers and comedy performers Ben McFarland and Tom Sandham.


Ben is the triple-crowned winner of British Beer Writer of the Year and author of World’s Best Beers: 1,000 Unmissable Brews from Portland to Prague and Boutique Beer: 500 of the World’s Finest Craft Brews.


Tom is former editor of spirits and cocktail magazine CLASS and lectures on spirits for the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. He launched the Top 50 Bars of the World and House Tonic magazine for the Soho House Group, and is the author of the award-winning World’s Best Cocktails.


Together, they have also written and performed The Thinking Drinker’s Guide to Alcohol, a unique comedic drinking show that debuted at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe followed, in 2014, with The Thinking Drinker’s Guide to the Legends of Liquor.


Tickets cost £16 and include five drinks, as well as a lot of learning – and laughs.
