Office spaces open up in city

A NEW flexible office and co-working space has been opened in the city.

Sussex-based Freedom Works have opened the site in Metro House, Chichester.

“We’re extremely excited about the Chichester site, which is in a prime location for those travelling by foot, rail and road,” explains Jon Trigg, founder of Freedom Works.

“West Sussex has a higher than national average of micro businesses, which are the lifeblood of our economy, and we’re excited to be able to offer these businesses a place to call home where they can collaborate and grow.”

Freedom Works currently owns two further sites in Hove and Worthing, with a fourth opening in Crawley shortly. Their 600+ members will be able to work across any of the sites and take full advantage of collaboration and networking opportunities.

The Freedom Works space is furnished and offers a dedicated networking area, a brand-new kitchen and bike storage. There is private office space for two to ten people and a creative open plan workspace accommodating permanent desk holders alongside hot desks for those just wanting to a flexible place to work for the day.

The members directory includes marketers, graphic designers, web developers, PR consultants, recruitment companies, business consultants, HR advisers, journalists, data forensic experts, TV production companies, publishers and accountants. Many of them have grown their business and expanded during their time as members of Freedom Works.

Jon continued: “We want to encourage community engagement and offer a bespoke service to all of our members. We are all about collaborating, building, creating and achieving so we want to help turn the ideas of local start-ups into commercially successful businesses.”
