I first met Nina Fowkes, a year ago at Yoga Garden and she was equally as tranquil as the beautiful surroundings of the site.
Unique to West Sussex, the Yoga Garden, found on the Knepp Estate, a stone’s throw from the Southdowns, is true to its word: providing an outstanding range of yoga for all levels, from the beginner to the advanced yogi, within an incredible, peaceful setting.
Nina first developed an interest in health, yoga, fitness and nutrition, 25 years ago whilst living in California. She returned to the UK in 1995 and underwent training in massage and aromatherapy.
Nina’s interest in Yoga, Eastern philosophy and medicine led her to Northern Thailand in 2001 where she began her study of Thai massage, returning in 2007 to qualify in traditional Thai massage at the Wat Po Medical School in Bangkok. Nina’s yoga journey brought her to the summer of 2009, where she developed the idea of creating the Yoga Garden to provide a beautiful space, to practice yoga close to nature and to provide her clients with a tranquil environment to help improve their health and bring their bodies back into a harmonious state.
The Yoga Garden team are in the midst of exciting changes for 2017, where community is central to their theme. Offering an array of yoga classes, practitioner courses in a yoga alliance accredited
