Confidence is a strange thing. How do you define it? Some people appear very confident, talk with calm conviction, look amazing and seem to not have a care in the world. But this is not always the case…sometimes the most seemingly confident people in the world have a bunch of insecurities that in solid format, could fill Buckingham Palace.
The truth is, you never really know what’s going on inside someone’s head. Anything can give your self-esteem a knock, but over time life can take its toll and before you know it you are unrecognisable. I see people in my clinic every day that due to one reason or another feel they are a completely different person to they were ten or 20 years ago.
Some mistake this for depression even, but sometimes, I think just feeling in control and regaining your power can be enough to give you that boost in life that you need to feel the fire in your belly again for living the life you want. Or give you the courage to make decisions that will benefit you enormously.
In short, you cannot rely on anyone else to make you happy. Being around certain people can spark feelings of happiness, but your real happiness is within. When you are alone, with your own thoughts, are you genuinely happy with where you are in your life? Or with your partner, husband, friends, job, hobbies etc.
The list is endless and, of course, very personal to you. What is good for one person may not be good for another. Illness, for one, can really take you down emotionally, especially if you are in hospital for a while or bed bound for a length of time and cannot be socially active if that’s what you love. But there is an array of other reasons too, why you may feel the need to regain your power!
Whatever your reasons are, if you feel you are not quite yourself, and would like to learn more about gaining strength and confidence, through the mind and great nutrition, my colleague,, Jemima Eames and I are doing a day’s workshop on Saturday, September 29, at the Hilton Avisford Park hotel in Arundel, from 10am until 4pm.
The day is about regaining your own power, self worth, self-confidence and inner strength to help you move forward in your own life, the way that you want to. We believe it’s a lot easier than you think to feel powerful in your own right and take life by the horns to make things work for you!
We are going to give you the tools and techniques to take home with you to support your mind and body, and think you will be amazed at the instant transforming results. Included in your day are refreshments, a healthy two-course meal and lots of tools, techniques, information and demonstrations to help create immediate change.
The cost of the day is £125, but for those of you that want to book early, there is an early birds offer of just £99. To get this amazing deal you must book your place and pay the full fee before September 18. For those of you who read my columns regularly, you will know that I have worked with Jemima for several years now. She is very experienced and incredible EFT (emotional freedom technique) practitioner, and has done many demonstrations over the years, with outstanding results. EFT helps to clear old beliefs and fears that are potentially holding you back. And, of course, my knowledge of nutrition and how to gain mental and physical strength with the best foods and super foods on the planet is essential for you to be the best you can be.
So, what are you waiting for! To book your place please call or email either Jemima or myself ASAP to get your early birds offer. This could be just what you need to regain your self-belief!
